I follow you on Twitter and enjoyed reading the eBook you offer on this site - I wlll recommend this to my clients.  I can relate to your story - I look back at some disasterous moments I had leading teams and ill considered decisions down difficult roads I made even more difficult in early career days.   You mention in your eBook that you wished you had been given a guidebook as a new manager in the deep end of the pool and I wondered, even if someone plopped an all knowning book in front of young managers (even with a coach) - will the best teacher always be their own experience of trying and failing?   I think you and I probably look back at some failures and value them as the best teacher.   Letting my clients fail.... sometimes it&#039;s what&#039;s needed...
