Happy Friday!
In celebration of all “glass half-fullers” everywhere, I am announcing……….drum roll please………………….
The Starbucker Meme!
Here’s an opportunity to let your creativity flow. Tell us:
- How full is your glass?
- What kind of glass is it?
- What’s in the glass?
- Reasons for #1, #2, and #3
My answers:
- Half full, of course!
- A clear, transparent shot glass
- Lemonade
- I always try to see the literal world in a positive way (not pollyannish but not doom and gloom – the fullness), staying honest, open-minded and uncomplicated (the type of glass), and always try to make lemonade out of lemons (the liquid)
Now, the tags (to get the ball rolling):
If those I tag could tag five in their response, link back to the originator (yours truly), etc……….I think we all know the drill. I promise to collate all the responses to create a “cornucopia of glass” – a blogospheric mosaic, so to speak.
So, What’s in Your Glass?
Have a Great weekend!

1.My glass is ALWAYS half full!
2. The glass is a tea glass.
3. Chai tea is always in my tea glass.
4. We co-create our life, consciously or unconsciously.
If we create it consciously, then our lives become incredibly “tasteful” like chai tea; rich, spicy and flavorful in our experiences with others.
And the tea glass? Well, that’s like our mind. Our mind is the “container” which holds our “chai” or experiences all together.
Thanks for tagging me Terry! I’ve replied to your request on my own blog:

Hey Terry, even though I didn’t get tagged the glass is filled so I decided to spill it over for this great blog:-) Thanks!
My glass is quite full because of people like you who remind me of the benefits of blogging more to learn.
It’s a Waterford Crystal wine glass because I am helping a university in Waterford to rejuvenate its vision.
New wine’s in my class.
It’s because I am learning how people can change and grow and so can I. In that learning I’ve discovered how research unearthered today can transform every taste or touch tomorrow.
It all depends on the kind of wonder and expectation this blog sports in a glass half full:-)
Thanks Tom, Mike and Ellen!
Tom (he’s called Director Tom on his blog – http://www.directortom.com/), like the “mind is a container” analogy. Long may we have those extra spaces to absorb more knowledge!
Mike, loved your response to the meme – thanks!
Ellen, your response was wonderful – you should consider yourself “tagged” and post this on your blog (more people should read it).
All the best to you all!
Hi, Terry. I got tagged by Ryan Karpeles (through Drew McLellan). Thanks for the meme.
Glad to find your blog through this whole process. I’ve subscribed and will be sure to come back often.
I’m going to have to give this some serious thought. hmmmm. When Terry Starbucker calls, how can I not . . .

Hi Tim and Liz!
Tim, thanks again for participating in this meme, and for your kind words for my blog. I will kindly return the favor and subscribe to yours as well.
Liz, it just wouldn’t be a very good meme without your contribution, now would it?
I very much look forward to seeing what’s in your glass!
All the best to you both.
Hi Terry!
Thanks for stopping by Living Light Bulbs. For the record, the name isn’t boring at all. I was just desperately trying to be clever. (Hopefully it didn’t backfire
Thanks again for getting the Glass ball rolling. It’s definitely been fun to see all the answers, and all the directions they lead. (Oh, and we even get to discover plenty of cool new blogs along the way.)
Glad I could be a part of the festivities!
P.S. I left a similar comment on my blog, but I figured you’d probably be more likely to read it over here first
Hi Ryan. No backfire at all- it made me smile!
You put your finger on the greatest benefit of these memes – the opportunity to discover new blogs, and new ways to approach the same question. A real “two-fer”!
Thanks again for participating, and all the best.
Great meme Terry. I’ll be playing along very soon, probably Wednesday.
Thanks for tagging me.
Terry
Great Idea for meme! It really made me think. Love the blog.
Hi Phil and Billy!
Phil, thanks for participating – I really liked what you did with it.
Billy, thanks for your kind words. I still can’t get over that “Bubble Tea”. I’ve never seen one available here in Connecticut. Where can I get one?
All the best to you both.
