Want to "See" a Glass Half-Full?

by Starbucker on December 30, 2006

Thanks to Nneka at Balanced Life Center and Jon at the Art of Money I recently saw one of the most striking (and clever) examples of literally “seeing” the glass half-full. It’s a political ad from Argentina (be sure to watch the whole thing):

It was facinating to see and hear two totally different interpretations of the exact same words. The copywriter did an amazing job.

It’s all a matter of perspective, and as this year draws to a close, here’s to all “Half-Fullers” everywhere, and keepin’ it positive in 2007!

Terry,

I love this. I posted about it this fall. It’s one of those “I wish I had written this” because it is so eloquent.

Best,

Drew

WOW – that’s FABULOUS! How clever … and how true. I don’t know much about the Argentine people, but it could just as easily be written about the American people. Thank you so much for sharing this, Terry!! And I look forward to whatever you’ll have to share in 2007!

Hi Jodee, thanks for your comment (listened to part of your radio show yesterday – nice job, and I noticed you played a couple of my Top 10 tracks!). Here’s to keeping that glass half full!
