For the last 24 hours my wife and I have been in Montreal, Quebec enjoying a little R&R over the Thanksgiving holiday. Last night we had the pleasure of dining with a fellow member of the blogosphere, Ben Yoskovitz.
Ben’s a great blog writer who I first met online at Liz Strauss’ Open Mic Night. I then became the first person to host to his “code writing donkey” Basil when he sent him around the world on the “Where is Basil” tour, and also watched him establish his “Instigator Blog” as a great source of information on “entrepreneurship, business, technology and marketing, with a heavy dose of humor“.
We had a wonderful night of good conversation, many laughs and insightful discussions about blogging and all the opportunities it affords (and the connections that result). Ben has recently started another site, “Business Blogs Now“, where he is offering his services to fledgling business bloggers to get them into that world “quickly and effectively, with valuable business blog tips, a 30-minute consultation and all technical details handled”.
Given all the great ideas we shared in just a few hours last night, I have no doubt that anyone who engages Ben to help them will get their money’s worth, and a whole lot more. He’s a smart, passionate and positive person with a great sense of humor.
