Since I’m on the road today, once again time does not allow me to comply with Easton’s 3 blogtip at a time suggestion, but here’s one to celebrate this great “day of connecting”.
I’m blogtipping Christine Kane today, and there are three reasons (plus a bonus) why:
- Christine is a wonderful writer – it’s not just the content of the posts that get me (more on that later), it’s the way that they are written – they grab you and hold you in such a “conversational” way you can almost hear her speaking.
- The content addresses “relatable” topics - Christine is great at looking at simple little concepts and finding meaning and insights that can improve your life – one of her most reccent posts on the idea of being “THERE” is a perfect example
- Christine engages you in virtual conversation – Christine just doesn’t stop with the post; if you take the time to comment you will always get a response that adds to the conversation (and the insights). It works that way in reverse too (on your blog).
- BONUS: She’s a heck of a musician and songwriter, and has a great sense of humor to boot.
- Suggestions: Her posts would make great topics for Podcasts. Also, I’d like to see occasional “quick hits” of advice/thoughts that aren’t so lengthy (for over-caffinated short attention spanners like me!)

Wow! I JUST now saw this. (My blog software is acting up. Or Technorati is misbehaving.) I had no idea you blog tipped me! Thank you. And very sweet thoughts and compliments. Thanks even more! I’ll TRY to take your suggestion to heart. It’s just that once I get thinking about a topic, I hold it upside down and look at it from every angle… so then there’s so much to say about it.
I have to do the blog-tipping thing. It’s such a good idea. I didn’t know it was a first-of-the-month thing.
Okay, so since you want quick advice… don’t watch American Idol.

Yes, that was quick! You’ve convinced me – I’m giving up American Idol. Maybe you can send me a DVD of one of your concerts for me to watch instead
